Online Teaching

I have been giving online classes, via Skype and Webex, to groups and individuals of all ages across the world for the last 3 years.

If you or someone you know is interested in improving their Jewish knowledge and acquiring skills for learning, do be in touch. Classes are priced reasonably, and the first lesson is free.

WHAT SORT OF THINGS CAN I LEARN?

I teach the full spectrum of Jewish learning, from Tanakh (Bible) and Talmud, to Halakha and Jewish Philosophy. Classes are completely tailored to the individual, in terms of the content and the level. To get a sense of the sort things I teach click here.

WHO ARE THE CLASSES AIMED AT?

Anybody and everybody interested in Jewish learning. Whether you’ve never learnt before and want to acquire basic skills or have spent time in yeshiva or seminary and want to pick up learning again. To see what students have had to say about their experience, click here.

Perhaps there’s a book of the Bible or an area of Jewish law you’ve always been interested in or maybe you want your son or daughter to actually understand their bar/bat mitzvah portion. Maybe you’ve been going to shiurim for many years but have never been able to acquire independent learning skills, or perhaps the festivals are approaching and you feel you need a refresher course.

DO I HAVE TO BE A CERTAIN AGE OR LIVE IN A CERTAIN PLACE?

Certainly not! Current students range in age from 13 to 53 and range in location from London to Mumbai. All you need is a computer with an internet connection good enough for Skype.

WHAT TIME ARE CLASSES? AND HOW LONG FOR?

Whenever suits you – before work, after you get back from school, late at night, or at the weekend. Classes are usually an hour, although this can be varied according to need, and can range from short courses to long-term chavrutot.

If any of the above seems relevant to you, just fill in the form below to arrange a free introductory lesson.

B’vracha,

Joe Wolfson
