The definition of a classic? More than we read it, it reads us.
There is no work more fundamental to Western civilisation and the Jewish people than the Tanakh (Bible) and there has never been a more exciting time to study or teach Tanakh.
In the last month, as part of the 929 project, we – myself and the 500+ members of our whatsapp groups – have completed the first 5 books of the Torah, one chapter a day, five days a week. This completion coincides more or less with the first yahrzeit of my grandmother, Nancy Hannah Wolfson, and in her memory and honour I’m delighted to be able to share the almost 200 recordings that have taken us from Bereishit to Devarim.
